Poker Variants at gem368
Each poker variant has its own style. Choose the one that suits how you play.
Texas Hold'em
The most popular variant in the world. Each player receives two private cards and shares five community cards. Strategy, reading opponents and timing all matter.
Omaha
Each player receives four private cards. The best hand is formed using exactly two of them together with three community cards. A more complex game with more choices.
Live Poker
Sit with a live dealer via high-quality video. Get the feel of a casino table without leaving your home.
Tournament Poker
Compete in tournament format with elimination tables. Starting from the same stack, the most skilled and patient players make it to the final table.
Card Games Favoured by Players
Alongside the main poker tables, gem368 also offers deck-based card games popular among local players.
TeenPatti Joker
A classic three-card game with a joker element that adds a new layer of strategy.
Teen Patti 20-20
A faster, simplified format of TeenPatti — suited for short sessions or quick rounds.
Callbreak Quick
A bidding and trick-taking game that requires planning each round to build up your score.
Tongits Go
A card melding game where players must form sets and sequences before their opponents do.
Core Strategy Basics to Understand
Poker is not just luck. Players who win consistently over the long run usually understand a few basic things that new players often overlook.
-
1Choose your position wisely. Sitting in a late position (button or cutoff) gives you more information before responding to opponents' bets.
-
2Manage your bankroll. Do not sit at a table with all the money in your account. Set a limit and stick to your decision so your poker sessions stay under control.
-
3Read opponents' betting patterns. Pay attention to bet sizing, the speed of their actions and changes in their patterns — this is more useful than guessing their cards.
-
4Understand relative hand value. A strong hand in one situation can be weak in another. The context of the flop, turn and river each matter differently.
-
5Reduce tilt. Emotion is the enemy in poker. If you have just lost a big hand, take a short break before continuing to play.
